Info: in 1920 Josef Neuhierl founded the firm JNF (Josef Neuhierl F?rth) at the Waldstrasse 80 in F?rth (Germany). The goal of the firm was to make high quality tin toys.
In 1942 all available material should be used for the war. After the war the firm started up again and in 1956 they moved to a new place in de Waldstrasse 30
In 1957 the founder Josef Neuhierl died and business was taken over by his wife Frieda and his son Fortan. Fortan had a degree in Chemistry.
In 1960 the first plastic product were released under the Struxy series.
In 1963 the 1:32 Carrera system was introduced. This was so
succesfull that in 1965 the production of the Struxy series was stopped to free money for the carrerasystems.
in 1972 the name was changed into Careera Speilwagenfabrik Neuhierl GmbH & Co. KG
