Info: The " Nostalgic Models " Brand was used when Weico produced copies of rare Diecast models either for themselves or for another person. In most cases the model was improved by new details, but they could not claim the original model to be their craftmanship.
The History of the model is as follows.
1 We did a run of kits for Barrys Automobilia approx 100. All had Nostalgic Models plates on the bottom. Model was a copy of the Dinky Toy. We modified this and fitted an interior ,wheels were plated and dinky style tyres provided. These were bulk packed no boxes provided.
2 Later run of approx 150 models. Approx 50 were kits similar to above but had a different wheels and improved tyres. No boxes for kits just poly bag.
150 were finished and sold to trade and by us. All were fitted with the new wheels and tyres some whitewalls. Colours were from our records, Black red int. Dark Blue blue int / some white roofs. Red lack int. Light Blue with blue int. All finished models were boxed, Nostalgic Models on label in black and white.
